Leah Schreiber is a contemporary intellectual feminist artist. Her artwork involves process, layering as metaphor, and mixed media in creation of semi-abstract surrealist dimensions of painting.
Leah and I worked on redesigning and redeveloping her portfolio website. She was interested in learning how to easily maintain her own website without the use of bulky web design software. I brought my web standard coding skills and experience forward to redevelop her previous website, while concentrating on logically refining the directory structure and maximizing and simplifying design aspects of the site. Then, we met a good handful of times to sift through the design and learn how to efficiently maintain a static website.
After implementing the new code and design, I integrated Blogger into the Home page, creating an easy way to post news, upcoming showings, or any kind of happenings.
Also, I'm delighted to be an owner of her artwork through bartered reimbursement for the project! See it on her website: There's No Right Way (2006)
