Agape House

Agape House is an ecumenical multi-denominational Protestant Christian community located in University Village at University of Illinois Chicago. Their transition from a long-standing church building to a new area of campus realized the need for a website.
agape-uic.org is a mid-sized website that offers the current events of Agape House and a blog from the pastor. This is accomplished through the use of the Drupal Conent Management System supplying Agape House robust administration of their website content in serving their community.
The Agape website is designed off of the Kubrick template, popular on WordPress blogs, offered as a theme in Drupal. This allows for a largely web standard compliant website with a modern, clean design and a contemporary feel. A green color palette with rounded corners provide a "grounded sense of place" online.
